Whilst we all gather together at the start of our Sunday morning service, the children and young people leave later in the service for age-appropriate fun, games, stories and teaching in their groups which meet in the Oasis Centre. We currently run two groups, one for primary school children and another for those in secondary school.
We also have creche facilities in our foyer area, with a live video and audio link for parents and guardians who find it more comfortable to be in the foyer with their little ones.
Children’s Church
Our group for primary school children (ages 5-11) led by our Children & Families Leader, Tanya, and a number of fantastic volunteers. The focus of this group is to introduce the children to stories for the Bible, and to help lay the foundations of faith in Jesus Christ. That means there’s lots of time for stories, activities and games.
Sunday Morning Group
Our group for those young people in secondary school (ages 11-16) led by a team of amazing youth work volunteers. This group helps the young people to engage in issues of life and faith that may be particularly relevant to them in their school, home or social life. There’s lots of chance for discussion and interactive activities, as well as for games and fun.
