Sunday Worship

Everyone is Welcome
at OBC

Come and join us for our main service at 10.30am each week.
You can join us in person (no need to book) or live online (by clicking here).

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted at the door by our friendly welcome team who will point you in the right direction and help you settle in with us, especially if you’re visiting for the first time.

What do I wear?

We’re really not fussy about what you wear so come in whatever clothes you’re comfortable in.

Is there anything for children and teens?

Usually during school term times our children and young people have their own sessions which begin after they’ve joined us for around 20 minutes of whole church worship.

Where can I park?

There’s limited roadside parking outside the church, but there’s a public car park on Sundays just up the road. Car park charges apply. Click here for directions.

Our services are a time to come together to praise God through songs of worship, to pray together for each other and our world, and to hear relevant and engaging Bible teaching which helps equip us to live our lives for Jesus.

Our services are led by one of our worship team and we’re blessed with our fantastic worship band who lead us in a contemporary and lively worship with the odd traditional hymn thrown in too.

Our talks and sermons are given by our minister or one of our gifted preaching team members.

We usually share together in Communion (or the Lord’s Supper) on the third Sunday of the month which is a really special time of celebration and remembrance of all that Jesus has done for us.

On the first Sunday of most months we all stay together for Whole Church Worship or an All Age Service.

Fancy a coffee and a chat?

Then why not stay with us for refreshments served either in our foyer or in the Oasis Centre.

It’s a great chance to get to know some of the friendly faces in our church, and an opportunity to chat about what you’ve heard in the service and ask any questions.

Would you like someone to pray with you?

We all need some prayer from time to time, especially when we’re having a tough time, or when we feel God has spoken to us during the service.

We’d love to take the opportunity to pray with you after the service, so head over to our prayer ministry team in the corner and they’ll happily pray for you.
