Vacancy
Minister
Andrew has been in ministry for more than 20 years, of which the last 12-13 have been spent in Harrow, NW London.
He was born and raised in Belfast but left in the early 90s to study Economics at St Andrews. During that time, to satisfy the requirements of the university, he also completed a number of modules in Biblical Studies. He was asked if he would consider switching to Biblical Studies for his final degree but responded that he could not see what use theology would be to him in later life!
Prior to ministry, his working career was widely varied, ranging from reporting to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister on homelessness, through to guarding Belfast city centre’s Christmas tree. (No-one stole it on his watch).
As well as being a church pastor, Andrew is a qualified spiritual director and loves encouraging people to meet God in the very ordinary things of life. He firmly believes there is no aspect of our lives that God does not care about. He is constantly amazed at how God had woven together different strands of his life to prepare him for each new chapter.
Whilst not working, Andrew is a novice in the garden, enjoys cooking and plays tennis. He likes a wide range of music. He likes to think he’s not bad, if very rusty, at table tennis, but looks forward to finding out just how rusty that is when he gets to Oadby! He supports Arsenal and Ulster Rugby. He likes crime fiction, though he admits he particularly enjoys the ‘cozy murder’ variety, from the likes of Richard Osman, Revd Richard Coles and Robert Thorogood’s Marlow Murders series.
He’s been married to Jools since 2003 and they have a cockapoo, Siggy.
Tanya Lord
Children and Families Leader

She has a passion to inspire, encourage and equip others in their journey of faith with God. As well as being our Children and Families Leader, Tanya is also involved in prayer and prophetic ministry. She has also been inspired to create, write and lead ‘Ablaze Worship’ which is multi-sensory worship inspired by the Holy Spirit, and is the author of ‘God Can… Do Infinitely More Than We Ever Dare Ask or Imagine!’.
Vicky Ford
Church Administrator
