As a community we work hard to ensure that we offer a welcoming and safe space for all who enter. Everyone who is part of the community takes this responsibility seriously and strives to be well informed. Many members of our community have undertaken Safeguarding training offered by the Baptist Union with a specific focus on children, young people and people at risk. However, we try to ensure everyone is kept safe in a number of ways. Around our building you will see notice boards that include our Safeguarding Policy as well as details of individuals who are the main points of contact if you have even the slightest concern that someone connected with the church might possibly be at risk of harm, or of not being kept safe. Please do not keep such concerns to yourself. You should raise any concerns with the Designated Person for Safeguarding (DPS), the Deputy DPS, the Safeguarding Trustee or any member of the Safeguarding Team below.
